The agreement for a purchase from yourselves is made on the day the purchase takes place. When orders are placed you are automatically opting in to our mailing list. Please be aware you can unsubscribe from the list at any time by emailing damien@symondsofhereford.co.uk.

The Terms & Conditions below are for both orders placed on the Internet or directly over the telephone with ourselves. The terms and conditions of this agreement represent the entire agreement. This contract is governed by the laws of England.

2. What happens after ordering?

You will receive an email from ourselves regarding the order you have placed. If you have not received this email please contact us so that we can arrange for another email to be sent. If the product(s) is in stock we will dispatch the item to yourselves within 2 days and will email you as soon as the item(s) are sent to give you the delivery details.

However if you have not received the item(s) and have not received any communication from us please contact us and we will make sure the issue is resolved effectively. If one or more items are ordered and one is in stock but others are needing to be ordered we will reserve the in stock item until the other item(s) arrive. If you would like the item(s) that are in stock to be sent separately please contact us to let us know.

To make sure you receive the best possible service we will always try to inform you of any situation if it arises such as the above. If you would like to cancel the order either please email us directly or telephone us on 01432 272574.

All product(s) ordered from ourselves depending on the cost and weight will be sent via APC Couriers or Royal Mail First Class Signed For. The delivery service chosen for your item(s) will be sent when you receive your confirmation email. If you would like any further details or would like to change the delivery option to either one of the delivery options above please let us know as soon as possible. Please note that if the delivery option is changed by yourself it may incur an extra charge.

All payments made through our website are accepted through Stripe. They are a Level 1 PCI Service Provider which is the most stringent level available in the payment industry. If however you would like to pay for the order via cheque or bank transfer please contact us on 01432 272574 so this can be arranged.

Please note that all free gifts that are sent are subject to stock levels and are excluded on clearance and sale items. When you are ready to pay for the item(s) ordered your browser will go in to 'secure mode' before asking for any card details once the transaction has been accepted you will leave 'secure mode'.

3. Returning Item(s) to Symonds of Hereford

On the occasion that you would like to return the item to us please do not hesitate to contact us so that we can start the returns process for you. Please note that all item(s) that are returned to us should be sent back up to us within 30 days of the delivery date. All items sent back to us should be sent back in the condition and original packaging that they were sent to you in.

If products(s) have been worn, washed or deemed to be not in the order they were sent then a refund or exchange will not be processed and will be sent back to yourself. All orders shortages or wrong items or items damaged or faulty must be reported to ourselves within 14 working days. You should provide us with evidence of this within 28 days. If this fails to be done, we shall not be liable for any loss or damage.

If you are returning the item as it is unwanted and do not require an exchange then we would ask that you send it back to us. When we have received it we will then refund the cost back to yourselves. If you would like to exchange product(s) we would ask that you send the items back to us and we will then send out the exchange items to yourself once the returned items are back with us. If products sent are deemed faulty by yourselves or not as specified on our website we would ask that you send the item(s) back to ourselves.

Upon receiving them will then either refund you or exchange the items as you request. We will also then contact you to arrange a refund for the postage costs you have incurred to make the return. If you feel that an item you ordered after the 30 day period has become faulty and is not to the standard you would expect please do not hesitate to contact us on 01432 272574 so that we can discuss the matter with yourselves and make the relevant arrangements.

If an item you are returning for a refund is part of a multi-buy offer you will receive a refund minus any discount that was given in the offer. All refunds processed are made to the same card you purchased the items from. Please make sure that any items returned are sent back to us using the correct postage and are guaranteed for the amount they are worth. Which we will then refund to you if the items are faulty.

If returns are being sent from overseas please clearly label the package that the item is a RETURN or it may incur import costs that you will be liable for. Any free gifts must be returned if a refund is required. Returns from outside the EU may be subject to other charges such as local sales taxes, import duties and customer charges which we have no control of and cannot accept any liability for any further charges to yourself. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE CLEARLY LABELLED THAT THEY ITEMS IS A RETURN ON THE PARCEL SO NOT TO INCUR ANY IMPORT COSTS THAT YOU ARE LIABLE FOR.

4. Sale Information

Our Agreement is with yourself the customer and excludes any other terms and conditions set out by any third parties. You warrant that all information given to us is true. You are responsible for making sure that all order information is accurate, please make sure you check all information correctly before finalising the sale. We always try to make sure that all photos taken are a true representation of our products however there may be an occasion where colours may vary slightly due to the photo quality. Photographs, prices and item description may be changed at certain times throughout the year. Please note that any Aerosols or Highly Flammable items ordered to be sent overseas from ourselves will not be sent and a full refund will be given.  

5. Symonds of Hereford Pricing

The price of the goods shall be the prices that is displayed next to the illustration and description of the chosen product. Unless otherwise agreed. All prices on our website are inclusive of VAT.

6. Stockist Warranties

Some of the items we stock are covered by warranties or guarantees by our stockists these warranties/guarantees will be honoured by ourselves. If there is an issue with an item such as this please contact us on 01432 272574 so we can help resolve the matter for you. This does not affect your Statutory rights. We sell to you under a consumer transaction as stated by the Consumer Transactions (Restrictions on Statements) Order 1976 this agreement does not affect your Statutory Rights.

Delivery Costs

UK & Northern Ireland - £4.50 on all orders

If you would like an item to be sent outside of this area please email or telephone us so that the correct delivery costs can be added at the time of order. Orders such as these can be placed with us over the telephone.

Force Majeure

We are not liable or in breach of the Terms and Conditions for any reason of any delay or failure to perform any of our obligations if the reasons for this are out of our control. These include Acts of God, explosion, flood tempest fire or accident, war or threat of war, sabotage, civil disturbance or requisition, restriction regulations, by-laws or prohibitions placed by any government or local authority, strikes, lock outs, industrial actions or trade disputes (whether involving employees or a third party), power failure or breakdowns of machinery.
